Fun Dog Show - In Honour of World Animal Day

Start Date: 06/10/2019 11:00:00
End Date: 06/10/2019 15:30:00

Will you celebrate World Animal Day and help us raise vital funds for rescue animals by coming to our Fun Dog Show?

On Sunday 6th October we will be celebrating World Animal Day by holding a Fun Dog Show to raise money for the rescue animals at our centre.

The Fun Dog Show will be held on Seaford beach. The dog beach ban is lifted from the 1st October, so as well as celebrating World Animal Day we can celebrate dogs being allowed on all areas of the beach again.

You could park in The Buckle Car Park or along the seafront and we will meet near Frankie's Beach Cafe (Esplanade, Seaford BN25 1JP) and congregate there where we will hold the Fun Dog Show.

By taking part in our Fun Dog Show your four legged friend will be in with a chance of winning a special Raystede rosette.

The Fun Dog Show will begin at 11.30 a.m and it's £3 to enter your dog into one of the below categories:

11.30 a.m. Most Fabulous Fella

12 p.m. Waggiest Tail

12.30 p.m. Most Appealing Eyes

1.30 p.m. Musical Sit

2 p.m. Loveliest Lady

2.30 p.m. Best Rescue Dog

3 p.m. Dog Judge Would Most Like To Take Home

Alternatively phone us on 01825 840747.

We will also be holding a Musical Sit at 1.30 p.m. which is a £1 to enter and your dog will be in with a chance of winning a prize!

As we're celebrating World Animal Day we are encouraging you to dress up as your favourite animal! This could be anything from wearing animal themed face-paint to animal ears or a full on animal costume. There'll be a prize for the winner- so why not unleash your inner animal at our World Animal Day Fun Dog Show too.

Places are limited and we are capping the amount of dogs in each category, so why not reserve your dog a place today!

*To avoid disappointment we will be notifying everyone the day beforehand if any of the categories are full. Please be aware that due to safety and welfare reasons if a class does become full we won't be able to accept any more dogs in that category on the day.

All money raised from taking part in our Fun Dog Show will go towards helping the dogs and other animals at Raystede. It costs us £20 a day to care for a dog in our kennels and we rely entirely on voluntary donations to keep Raystede running. Your support really is vital to us.
