SEAFORD, 17th July 2024 – Seaford Town Council is delighted to announce the official opening of the newly constructed seafront toilet block, changing places unit and café on the east-end of the promenade and neighbouring Martello Tower. This much-anticipated facility will be inaugurated by the Mayor of Seaford, Cllr Sally Markwell with a special ceremony to be held at the facilities on Tuesday 30th July at midday.

The new development is part of Seaford Town Council’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the town's amenities and improving the experience for both residents and visitors. The state-of-the-art facilities, situated in a prime location along the picturesque seafront aim to provide convenience and comfort, supporting the needs of all and elevating Seaford's status as a premier coastal destination.

The new facilities include a new welcoming café – Lola & Bonpa’s, with a vibrant new concessionaire who is looking to offer a range of refreshments and bring some exciting new dishes to the town. This project represents a significant investment in Seaford's infrastructure and is expected to considerably enhance the overall visitor experience.

The Mayor of Seaford, Cllr Sally Markwell will lead the opening ceremony with a ribbon-cutting, followed by a tour of the facilities. In her statement, the Mayor of Seaford highlighted the importance of such community-centric projects, stating:
