Seaford Town Council is excited to announce a variety of fixed and non-fixed concessions which will be coming available in April 2024. Sites include the beach front and other key town locations with a variety of style and size venues and with three year leases.
In alignment with this, the Town Council has designed a comprehensive new Concessions Policy and application matrix to support the tender process. This comprehensive framework aims to create a dynamic and thriving concession environment by promoting local business development, and providing a variety of sustainably minded, inclusive public spaces for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Tenders for all spaces will be released in early February with spaces becoming available from April 2024. To encourage budding entrepreneurs and small local business owners to apply, the Town Council will be sharing details of the tender’s matrix during the tender process. This system will consider factors such as locality, sustainability ethics, inclusivity goals, and health and wellbeing impact. Each criterion will be assigned a weighted value, ensuring a thorough, impartial, and consistent evaluation process for all applicants. This process aims to champion new businesses and expand the existing offering to our community to help build a diverse and vibrant commercial offering in the town.
