Phase 2 of shingle recycling started on Monday 19th February 2024 and is estimated to take approximately four to five weeks to complete. The main site compound will be located at Splash Point and a small satellite compound established adjacent to Seaford Sailing Club.
Materials will be moved from between Splash Point and Cliffe Gardens and evenly re-distributed back to the central section of the beach. In the event of insufficient surplus shingle at Splash Point, the recycling operation will move surplus shingle from Tide Mills.
