Submitted on 28 June 2018 by STC Officers

Seaford Town Council and The Royal Society of St. George have been making the final arrangements for the Veterans and Armed Forces Day in Seaford this Saturday 30th June 2018, at the Martello Fields, from 11am until 4pm.

The day will include Veterans Military parade and inspection, supported by The Trumpeters and Buglers from The Seaford Silver Band, and is packed with activities and entertainment for the whole family. Live music acts including the amazing Conil Music – ‘POP UPs’ singers and the lovely Rosie from Full Beam Productions who will be entertaining us from decades past.  The Air Training Corp Drummers, Sussex and Surrey Drum and Bugle Corp, the Seaford And Newhaven Sea Cadets, will also be performing in the arena.  The arena programme will be concluded with a traditional ‘Tug of War’ thanks to Jim Edwards stepping in at short notice. A children’s funfair, community and craft stalls, military vehicles, artefacts and memorabilia, food and drink stalls and so much more!
